The successful deployment of scaleable RFID solutions involves complexities that require multi disciplinary expertise and real-world experience to solve, in order that the full benefit of this powerful technology can be exploited to provide a solution that generates real value and competitive advantage.

An holistic approach to system design and development is critical to ensure that deployed RFID systems will operate reliably and effectively. This approach requires a structured testing methodology in which each and every component of an RFID system is carefully evaluated in the intended application environment, allowing effective system optimisation and characterisation.

RFIQ’s structured testing methodology comprises a set of proprietary templates and processes that provide a sophisticated ‘toolbox’ to build, test and characterise prototype RFID systems. This proven toolbox includes:

• Methodologies for evaluating and comparing RFID tags, readers, and antennas;


• Processes for testing and optimising complex RFID systems;

Our structured testing has allowed us to amass a comprehensive database of product performance characteristics, which we exploit when developing and deploying our systems, to ensure risk and cost are minimised.

We prototype, test and optimise our RFID solutions in industrial environments that are created in our Test Centre.
